If you are shopping for a home with solar (or other energy efficient/green elements), please call or email me for a buyer’s packet to help you understand the process. If the home has solar that is owned, the process is a bit simpler, but there are still a lot of questions for you to ask the parties involved. If it is a lease, it can be a problem if the agent listing the home doesn’t know how that lease is supposed to be transferred.
